Shopping Assistance

With so many shopping options these days, there are many ways we can help meet your shopping needs:

Companionship is one of the most important services we provide, and we can provide it in several ways. Companionship services either use the caregiver as the companion, or arranging for companionship opportunities with others.

Online Shopping

There are many options when it comes to online shopping, and we’re here to help with all of it! From online shopping for groceries to navigating the grandkids’ Amazon Wishlist, we can help with item selection, delivery arrangements (including local pickup by our Caregivers), and putting away the goods when they arrive.

Trips to the store

We can help walk your loved one through the entire shopping process, including shopping list preparation, transportation, item selection, assisting at checkout, and putting away groceries or items upon returning home. Alternatively, we can provide our Caregivers with gift cards to do the shopping on their own.

For the protection of our clients and our Caregivers, Caregivers are not allowed to handle transactions for our clients, nor are they given usernames and passwords for client shopping accounts. Instead, Caregivers will use a client-owned device with pre-stored passwords to use these services.

Tele-Visit Options exist for Meal Preparation, which means that a full in-person care visit may not always be necessary.
